Every night, when we returned to Hotel Tupelo, Jobos Tupelo was packed! So, I was excited to check it out for brunch our last day. As someone who appreciates inventive twists on coastal cuisine, I had high hopes for this restaurant.

We went for brunch on a Sunday as they are touted to have the best brunch in Tupelo. I’d say that their food is modern coastal with a twist.

They have all of the classics that you would want in a brunch like pancakes, eggs, bacon, etc., but they also have some inventive items like breakfast charcuterie boards and shrimp & grits!

The portions were large and the prices were reasonable. Overall, I was really impressed with the food at Jobos Tupelo.

The atmosphere at Jobos Tupelo is really relaxed and casual in the morning. But, at night, it is more like a bar with a loud party vibe. So, depending on what time of day you go, the atmosphere will be different.

However, at night the atmosphere is more like a bar, with a louder party vibe. So, if you’re looking for a quieter evening out, I suggest visiting Jobos Tupelo during the daytime.

There’s even a table-shuffleboard game in the restaurant’s lounge area. So, if you’re looking for a fun place to eat and drink with friends, Jobos Tupelo should definitely be on your list!

It’s not just for travelers!

While Jobos Tupelo is inside of Hotel Tupelo, it is a welcome reprieve for locals and travelers! We were quite blown away at how busy it is on Friday & Saturday nights.

The locals come out in force to support this area business and hang with friends will enjoying amazing food and craft cocktails.

Daily Happy Hour!

From 3pm to 6pm.

The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is always upbeat. If you’re looking for a place to enjoy a few drinks at a great price, Jobos Tupelo is the perfect spot.

There is plenty of parking in the lots behind the Hotel Tupelo and it is all free!

WaitStaff:

It can be a bit difficult to decern who is staff and who are patrons becuse there doesn’t appear to be any uniform requirement. I saw staff in everything from summer dresses to cut-off daisy dukes!

However, the laid-back dress code may just be something other places need to emulate because this was the friendly staff I have come into contact with in a very long time.

Atmosphere:

The casually dressed staff isn’t the only charming detail in this modern restaurant! The decor and atmosphere perfectly compliment the menu.

The inside dining area has an industrial feel with concrete floors and exposed duct work. The walls are adorned with local art work and the tables are simple yet chic.

The doggy friendly, outdoor patio is just as lovely with string lights and plants hanging overhead. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a meal on a warm Tupelo evening.

Dietary Needs:

At Jobos Tupelo, they aim to please everyone. Most dietary needs can be accommodated–if you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to ask your server.

Pricing:

The pricing is very reasonable for the quality of food you receive. The brunch menu ranges from $5-$12 and the lunch/dinner menu from $10-$30.
