Our Mission
We believe that our generation deserves a travel resource just for us. So often we hear “You’re so lucky that you can just pick up and go! I wish I could do that…”
Well, we’re here to tell you that YOU CAN!
This is where our focus is – helping those in their 40s (young at heart 50somethings and beyond are welcome too!) to travel more.
We provide tips on when to splurge, where to find the best drinks, how to make the most of your weekend, and anything else we think will help you travel more!

Our Story
We don’t have one yet… after a last-minute weekend trip to OWA in Foley Alabama, we decided it was time to form the “next big thing”. As an established blogger for over 15 years at 3 Boys and a Dog, Kelli knew she could make This Couple Travels work. So, this is us (wow, another television reference??) leaving the kids home so we can travel the Deep South!

Meet Kelli & Ricky Miller
Kelli and Ricky Miller are the husband-and-wife team behind This Couple Travels, a blog for couples looking for unique places to visit from the perspective of a couple of middle-aged parents!
After 22 years of raising their boys, it was finally time for Kelli and Ricky to focus on themselves, their relationship, and their marriage. What started as a way to document their own travels quickly turned into a passion for helping other couples find great weekend getaways and explore unique towns and cities. Because they love to drive, you will find things mostly in the Deep South!
Kelli and Ricky live south of Mobile, Alabama, with 7 boys who call them “mom” and “Dad”, but only two are left at home. When they’re not busy working on the blog, you can find them exploring new places, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.
