What to Expect at H&F Burger at Ponce City Market

Because H&F is located in a food hall, the seating isn’t expansive. There is a small bar and one long high-top table.

The restaurant gets crowded, so be prepared to share a table or stand if need be. The line at the take-out window can also get long, but it moves pretty quickly.

However, Ponce City Market’s food hall has plenty of seating, including comfy chairs, big tables, intimate high-tops, etc. It is a great place for date night or hanging with friends. You can each grab your favorite from one of the 25+ vendors and meet up to eat.

Housemade Sauces:

Whether you ask for mayonnaise or ketchup – or something else entirely, you may be surprised to find that even the sauces are made from scratch in-house.

They make their own mustard, ketchup, and pickles according to their menu. They also bake their buns fresh daily and hand-cut potatoes into fries! Their beef is 100% natural, zero-hormone, Georgia-grown beef that they ground fresh daily!

Interesting Fact about H&F Burger:

It all started with the burger.

The famous “H&F burger” began at Holeman and Finch Public House as a special, only available at 10 p.m. each evening, with only 24 prepared nightly; a griddled double cheeseburger, topped with red onion and house-made pickles, served on a freshly baked pan bun with from-scratch ketchup, and mustard on the side.

The buns, sized with the ideal bun-to-burger ratio in mind, are butter-toasted on the griddle for crispy golden edges. This burger is a direct descendant of the original that debuted at the 1904 St. Louis World’s Fair.

Forged in a time of industry and progress, that burger forever transformed the American food landscape. This iconic, award-winning burger is now available all day, every day at H&F Burger.

The Details You Need

The following details help you plan your visit to H&F Burger:

There is a big paid parking lot at Ponce City Market, but since there are also offices and apartments on the campus, the parking can be crazy.

Don’t forget to look for the kiosk – parking is not free! We don’t want you towed.

Had we known it, we would have just done the available valet parking. That would have been much easier even if it had cost us a bit more. Next time, we will certainly do that!

WaitStaff:

There is no waitstaff, however, there are a couple of bartenders. They are attentive and quick.

Dietary Needs:

H&F fries are fried in peanut oil. If you have any questions or concerns, please speak with your server.
